I DON'T UNDERSTAND

First look through the terminology, that will bring you up to speed with what names people use.

Then look through each of the sections, by reading things might become clear.

Finally, contact us if you still are having trouble.

CHECK FIRST

Be sure that you run everything as an Admin and not in a compatibility mode.

Check if all things are in the correct folder.

Check if you unblocked every file you downloaded. (when you extract a Zip file it is done by itself)

Be sure that your wiring in your cabinet is correct.

FREEZYS DLL DMD WON'T SHOW UP

Solution: change the real external dmds to false in the dmddevice.ini

I CANT MAKE STERN ROMS BUT DONT KNOW HOW?

Example:

Download acd/dc Le stern game code at stern Pinball Website
Rename the file to acd_168h.bin
Place this in a zip file called acd_168h.zip
Place the zip into the rom folder

Solution: Do it like that and use 7 Zip and not winrar

BACKGLASS WONT SHOW UP ON A SPECIFIC TABLE

Solution: first check if you have a directb2s file named exactly like the table in Tables folder. And also be sure that it doesn ́t need to be activated in the script either with a Number or change createobject.vpinmame with b2sserver

SCREEN SHAKING WHEN NUDGED

Solution: Preferences->Video and set Visual Nudge Strength to 0

FATAL D3DERR_DEVICELOST

ERROR APPEARS AT LOADING

Solution: This error means always problem with a GPU.

look if its setup correct in the motherboard.

check if drivers are up to date

if 1+2 are ok lower the graphic settings

Buy a new GPU

NO SOUND

(ULTRADMD) – CAN’T HEAR ANYTHING

Solution: Check if you have used primary Sound driver in Audio settings

SOUND TOO LOW

(NORMAL) – CAN ́T HEAR ANYTHING

Solution: Open the coin door (end) and increase the volume with Number 8 and 9. On Some tables you dont have to open coin door just press 8 and 9

SOUND TOO LOW

(PINSOUND) – CAN ́T HEAR ANYTHING

Solution: First check if you want to use pinsound and have the files if not get them. If you have them and they are too low write a gain.txt inside the pinsound folder to increase the volume

TABLE OUT OF REACH GAME WON ́T START

Solution: Something on your system is not up to date, just do the all in one installer again

TABLE ONLY SHOWS UP IN DESKTOP VIEW

Solution: Check in VP>Preferences>Video settings if Fullscreen is activated. If it is, check the Backdrop settings

NO DMD FOUND

Solution: Wrong dmddevice.dll used or in the wrong folders

MUSIC DOUBLING UP OR HAS AN ECHO

Solution: Right click on the backglass and set

grill to what you prefer
DMD set to “visible”
b2s dmd to “hidden”

CONTROLLER NOT FOUND

Solution: Check your VBS Files. They should only be in the VP Scripts folder

NET FRAMEWORK ERROR ON THE BACKGLASS

Solution: Your B2s Server is not up to date and/or your net framework, update those

INCLINE=TABLE1.

INCLINATIONFS BEING READ BY VP IN TABLE SCRIPT

Solution: change "InclinationFS" to "Inclination"

GAMENAME NOT FOUND

(STERN SAM TABLES) - WRONG VPINMAME.DLL

Solution: Download the correct version of vpinmame.dll
